What We Do
Research
& MEL
We lead monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) and other applied research through:
- Qualitative, quantitative, and geospatial research on territorial, social, ecological and environmental processes and indicators; and
- Collaborative research, hand-in-hand with communities.
Research enables the development of spatial, institutional and qualitative analyses, operational maps, briefings, reports and other outputs that contribute to:
1. Baseline information;
2. Monitoring, evaluation, and action-learning;
3. Multi-level planning, community development and environmental management;
4. Advocacy;
5. Policy development; and
6. Spatial planning and analyses on land tenure, NRM and conservation planning.
