Ruwaza is a Kiswahili word meaning “pattern” or “good example”. In our work, we endeavor to manifest integrity, equity and empathy in our work, not only providing needed professional services to sustainable development processes, but also letting the way that we work serve as an example.
At RUWAZA we undertake social, ecological, spatial and institutional research, and engage in development practice, that supports communities and organizations in their efforts to address the rights and needs of minorities and marginalized groups and to do development that contributes to realizing human potential, the well-being of society as a whole and the preservation of healthy landscapes.
